Guarjardo Receives National Award

Marion, SC— In recognition of his work in the field of Mental Health Counseling, Marion Regional Healthcare System’s C. Rudy Guajardo III, MA, LPC, NCC has been named the 2009 Mental Health Counselor of the Year.

“I am honored and thrilled to receive this award,” said Dr. Guarjardo, who is affiliated with Pee Dee Pediatrics, a division of Marion Regional Healthcare System. This award is determined and given by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and will be presented to Dr. Guarjardo at the AMHCA’s Awards Luncheon on July 24th as part of an annual conference in Washington DC.

“This award is a tremendous distinction for Dr. Guarjardo, as it recognizes his many and continuing contributions to Mental Health Counseling and we could not be more proud of his accomplishments,” said Donald Lloyd, Executive Vice President of Marion Regional Healthcare System.
