Marion Regional Healthcare System Offers Flu Vaccines to Community

Marion, SC—With an estimated 20% of Americans contracting it and close to 40,000 dying from it each year, the flu is a serious contagious disease. Flu season is upon us and the flu vaccine is the first and most important step you can take in protecting yourself against this serious disease.

The Marion Regional Healthcare System will be offering flu vaccinations again this season at A Woman’s Place (located in Marion County Medical Center, to the right of the front lobby) on Thursday, December 18th, from noon-1PM. Vaccinations will be $25 per person, which will be due at the time of service and cannot be applied to insurance. Cash or checks will be accepted.

No registration is necessary. If you have questions please contact the Education Department at (843) 431-2080. If you have not had your flu vaccine this is an excellent time to protect yourself from this contagious disease.
